With TRW-Lucas at the MotoGP in Misano

The perfect weekend at the MotoGP in Misano – that is how TRW-Lucas wanted to thank the Italian sales partners and workshop owners who showed above average commitment to our quality products in recent months.

On Saturday, 10 September, Fabio Brivio, one of our Italian TW colleagues, welcomed the guests at the track in perfect sunny weather – the start of what was probably the most exciting weekend of the year for them. The first items on the programme were the qualifying sessions, but the paddock was also a constant attraction. This is where they were able to get really close to some of the stars.

The absolute highlight of the day was a visit to the Leopard Racing Team which is competing in Moto2 in 2016. Team manager Stefan Kiefer personally gave our guests a tour of the garage and answered all questions. For the bikes and all installed parts, Kiefer wants reliable quality, absolute precision and maximum possible safety for the riders. Brake components from TRW-Lucas are therefore the first choice and TRW-Lucas has been actively supporting Stefan Kiefer for many years. Of course the TRW guests also got to meet the riders of the team during their visit to the paddock. First and foremost Danny Kent, who won the Moto3 world championship with Leopard Racing in 2015. Our guests received a great welcome from the entire team and they were able to take advantage of the team hospitality during the weekend. On Saturday night, they went to a select hotel in nearby Rimini for dinner and their overnight stay.

There was not much time for relaxing, though. On Sunday, the first warm-up started at 8:40 am. Our guests took their seats on the Brutapela Gold grandstand early on. From this exclusive position, they watched the exciting races during the day. And even though Dani Pedrosa beat local hero Valentino Rossi to the top spot on the podium, our guests never lost their good spirits.

Our guests at Misano: Renzo Maschio (COSSO),

Mirco Frison (TUTTAUTO), Enrico Perasso (SARAT),

Carlo Rovatti (NUOVO PONENTE AUTOACCESSORI),

Fabrizio Scagnelli (OFFICINA CENTRO GOMME).
